Doors Open Days will see over 50 Renfrewshire venues throw open their doors for a spectacular weekend of free exploration and adventure.That’s the magic of Doors Open Days; you can be a tourist in your own town or discover a new place entirely – including some buildings and spaces not normally open to the public.
This year that includes Paisley’s Abbey Drain, a medieval tunnel nearly 100m long that was first discovered in the early 1990s underneath the Abbey gardens.
Lucky adventurers will win a chance to tour the drain again this year, following a hugely successful ballot in 2018.
