Singers and instrumentalists will gather for a unique weekend to put together new arrangements of songs from some of Scotland’s best contemporary songwriters. In this first year of The Lightkeepers we’ve chosen eight stunning songs all based around the theme of LIGHT from – amongst others – Emily Smith; Dave Francis and Mairi Campbell; Kris Drever; Gerry Rafferty; The Proclaimers.
There are three weekends to choose from throughout the first year, each of which is based in a different part of Scotland. The weekends are stand-alone events featuring the same repertoire.
