Bothan, an co-bhonn le Iomairt Ghàidhlig Dhùn Èideann, Seachdain na
Gàidhlig gu dol am bliadhna. Mar urram do Chalum Chamshron nach
maireann, a bha a’ fuireach an Dùn Èideann fad mòran bhliadhnachan,
bheir a’ Bhan-Ìleach, Iseabail Nic an t-Sagairt, dhuinn òraid phoblach
sa Ghàidhlig: ‘Dè cho saor ’s a tha sinn an-diugh?’ An dèidh na h-òraid,
gheibhear glainne fìon’ is cothrom faighinn a-staigh an asgaidh gu
Bothan sònraichte sa Chanonsgait bho 2030.

Bothan, in partnership with Iomairt Ghàidhlig Dhùn Èideann, will open
this year’s Seachdain na Gàidhlig with a stimulating new event –
Cearcall Chaluim 2017.

In honour of the late Calum Cameron, who lived for many years in
Edinburgh, Iseabail Mactaggart from Islay will deliver a public lecture
in Gaelic ‘How free are we today?’ A simultaneous audio translation in
English will be available. There will be a wine reception afterwards and
all those attending will also enjoy free entry to a special ‘Bothan’ in
The Canonsgait Bar from 8.30pm.
