The National Hospital Choir (Rikshospitalets kor) is a mixed choir based
at Oslo University Hospital. Its 40 members include staff at the
hospital as well as other song-loving people from all over Oslo, led by
conductor Daniel Helland Hines.
The choir has a varied repertoire of choral music, folk tunes and pop
songs, most of it sung a cappella. Performances include monthly mini
concerts at different wards of the hospital and larger concerts in other
venues at the end of each term. The choir also travels abroad once a
year, performing in hospitals and other local venues.
We are pleased to welcome the Choir for a free performance in the
Storytelling Court this afternoon.
