The Musicians’ Union will be hosting a series of seminars on gig promotion. Head along and polish up your skills on social media and other forms of advertising – sell more tickets and attract bigger audiences.

The sessions will be delivered by Manchester Promoter, Jay Taylor (Night & Day). Jay will take you through the promotional journey from booking and announcing your show, to selling tickets across different platforms, and walk-ups on the night. Jay will also offer advice on how artists can work with in-house promoters to reach new fans and sell tickets beyond their existing fan base.

The sessions will be useful to new and emerging artists, who book and promote their own shows. The content will also prove valuable to more established artists who are keen to explore ways of growing their existing fan base.

Advice will relate to both headline and support shows, one-off gigs and tours.

These events are free for MU members to attend, and will be taking place across all MU regions. Please book early as places are limited.
