Both brothers have taught and performed worldwide and are now coming together to share their passion and expertise in the beautiful Scottish Borders town of Kelso.
This music event is open to all fiddle players who would enjoy and feel comfortable within a deep learning experience or can play jigs and reels up to speed and have some experience of learning and playing by ear (not just for fiddle player).
The fiddle weekend kicks off on the evening of Friday 1st February at the Cross Keys Hotel in Kelso with all participants gathering together for an evening meal followed by an informal session. The weekend will continue with 2 days of world class music workshops and teaching and a variety of evening activities and music sessions concluding with a performance by all participants.
The cost of the Merlin Winter Fiddle Weekend including the course, all meals and 3 nights accommodation is £350.00 per person with a course only option (including lunch and evening meals) for £150.00 per person.
