Moladh Uibhist: New Trad Gaelic Song Festival in Uist, 5th-7th May
Moladh Uibhist (‘In Praise of Uist’) is the reinvigorated song conference which focuses on the song traditions of Uist and their place within the community. Join us for a weekend of song from May 5th-7th from North Uist, Èirisgeidh and South Uist, learning local songs and their associated stories from the tradition bearers of Uist.
This exceptional opportunity will allow song students to learn at the source of the tradition. Workshops will take the form of informal song circles, instead of formal classes, for a more relaxed style.
