Jennifer Oag (NAFCo Committee Member) and Feerochie are looking for local groups and dancers based in the North East who would potentially be interested in performance opportunities during the North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFCo) in Aberdeen between 11 – 15 July. They are particularly interested in any dancers with links to Fiddle music and musicians but all local acts will be considered as they hope to showcase the best of all the traditional dance forms that the North East has to offer.
Initial preference will be given to dancers with a link to fiddle music but all traditions are welcome to apply.
Dancers must be available between 11 – 15 July for the festival, but other opportunities may be available on the run up to the festival as well.
Dancers must be able to perform to live music. Assistance may be available if you do not already have musicians.
Open to all age groups but children’s groups must be accompanied and supervised by appropriate adults.
For more info and to register interest, please email Jennifer.
