MOK Fest 2022 set to Rock the Wee Toon

The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival is delighted to announce the bands for MOK Fest 29 which takes place on August 17 – 21.

The Saturday night concerts on Aug 20 promise a fantastic night of music with indie folk sensations Elephant Sessions and Trail West headlining the ‘Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks’ concert with Rhuvaal.   

The Traditional concert the same night in Campbeltown Heritage Centre will headline with Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham supported by Ellie Beaton with Gillie O’Flaherty. 

The Fiobha Ceilidh Band is guaranteed to get everyone dancing at the Festival Ceilidh Night on Aug 23.  Also playing are a young six piece traditional band, Cala with The Dalriada Connections Band and Kintyre Schools Pipe Band also performing. 

The Kilkerran Dalriada Connections Concert on Aug 21 has another great line-up with headline act Brian MacNeill supported by Ceolta from NI plus many more local and visiting artists.   

The festival opening concert on Aug 17 is the Beinn an Tuirc Festival Gaelic Night in the Argyll Hotel  Campbeltown which headlines with Calum Alex MacMillan & Ross Martin who will be joined by a host of Gaelic performers.  The following evening Young Folk Night will feature the usual fantastic selection of young musicians from across Kintyre. 

The closing concert on Aug 21, Survivors Night, headlines with Slainte Davaar Allstars with many guest bands including Rhuvaal, FLING, Alex, Archie & Arran McAllister, Gilchristians and Che Martin.
