Norman MacLean tells the spooky tale of ‘The Shieling of the One Night’ for the Guthan nan Eilean project, a local legend from the Isle of Benbecula in the Hebrides.

Multiple versions of this tale exist, one of which, ‘The Day of the Black Dog’, can be found in Ian Stephen’s book, Western Isles Folk Tales.
