Heather Henderson has been a storyteller since 1996 and loves telling stories from all over the world. She enlivens her stories by encouraging listeners to join in with words, actions and voices.

Heather also links stories and specific themes to projects for school children. With years of experience of telling stories in school and community settings, Heather’s comfortable with nursery and primary age audiences, but happy to offer her talents to older groups and adults. Her warm and down to earth style ensures a lasting rapport with her listeners, spiced with a good measure of humour.

Heather was born in Edinburgh and has lived there all her life. She is an active member of the Craigmillar community, taking storytelling to local schools and after school clubs. She has a wealth of stories relating to the area, and she was also a contributor to the Spokespeople training programme for community development of storytelling.
