The first Balquhidder Winter Workshop Day will take place on Sun 22nd February at Balquhidder Village Hall in the Trossachs.

The workshop day is aimed at Intermediate adult fiddle players and Lauren will teach the class by ear with music at the end of the day. We will work on a variety of tune types, different bowing techniques and ornamentation. Participants should be comfortable with learning by ear. Spaces are limited to 15 participants

The workshop day takes place from 11am-4pm, costs £35 and includes 4 hours of tuition and a hearty lunch.

Balquhidder is a small village in the heart of the Trossachs, the village hall sitting on the edge of Loch Voil and next to the burial place of Rob Roy. It is approx 1hour 20mins from Glasgow and 1.5 hours from Edinburgh.
