Barbara Dickson: Winter
From her 1960s folk club origins to her 1970s hits and her 1990s Olivier Award-winning acting career, Barbara Dickson has shown talent and variety in equal measure.
Named as Scotland’s best selling female artist of all time, her hits included Caravans, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and I Know Him So Well (with Elaine Paige). As an actor, her roles have included Anita Braithwaite in ITV’S Band of Gold, the original Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell’s long-running musical Blood Brothersand Viv Nicholson in Spend Spend Spend for which she won an Olivier Award in 1999.
Barbara’s latest studio album Winter includes both new material and reinterprations of some of her classic back catalogue.
