Northern Streams 2020

Northern Streams is a unique festival of Nordic and Scottish music, song and dance based in Edinburgh celebrating its 17th year.

The Danish duo – Fromseier & Hockings – who play fiddle, guitar and sing both old and new songs and tunes –

Vilja-Louise Skough Åborn – a Swedish singer based in Dumfries will be exploring songs from north sea cultures and the Scottish diaspora – https://www.viljalouise.com

The Låtmores – a Scottish/Finnish duo: Paul Sinclair (fiddle) & Janeta Österberg (accordion) who play a mix of traditional and modern folk tunes from Scotland and Scandinavia alongside their own original compositions – https://www.facebook.com/the.latmores/

Paid tickets range from £6-£35 whilst some events are free. Usual concessions plus for TMSA members and Young Scot Cardholders apply.

We acknowledge the amazing support from the Culture Service Project Fund (Promoting Access) from the City of Edinburgh Council in partnership with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 19/20 especially helping provide free events and tickets within the festival programme.
