Renewing the Tradition with Scotland Sings

Renewing the Tradition with Scotland Sings

Come along and join with Horsecross Voices to support this new and exciting venture from Scotland Sings – January harmony singing workshops: Renewing the Tradition – brand new choir repertoire of fresh contemporary arrangements seeded by some of Scotland’s best-loved Burns and Gaelic songs.

Scotland Sings have commissioned songwriters Kim Edgar and Findlay Napier to take a Robert Burns song and rewrite it into a modern version. These songs will be taught at the workshops along with the winning song from Scotland Sings’ Gaelic songwriting competition.

Scotland Sings is all about getting everyone singing – any style, anywhere. In schools, choirs, workshops, round kitchen tables, in pubs and clubs, in the hills and on the street!

This workshop is open to choirs and individual singers alike.
