Bring the family to the Silver City Stramash outdoor Sunday afternoon family ceilidh in the Roof Garden on top of the St. Nicholas Centre, Aberdeen

The Dark Island Ceilidh Band is part of The Dark Island Trust, which was created in 1999 to promote traditional Scottish arts. Dark Island perform at private parties, weddings, and public events in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire and all profits are donated annually to charities nominated by the band members. Over £40,000 has been donated to charity since the trust was formed. The current line-up includes keyboard, fiddles, mandolin, banjo and percussion. The band also features a dance caller to guide beginners and experienced dancers through a variety of ceilidh dances.
