The World’s Room is a home for traditional singing in Edinburgh, organised by the Traditional Music Forum and held in the Waverley Bar, St Mary’s St.
Antrim-born Mark Dunlop is a strong traditionalist from a musical family and has been singing in company for 20 years. Having moved to Scotland to study in the early 90s, he has been promoting traditional song since 1998 with Malinky.
In 2008 he released a well received solo album, ‘Islands of the Moon’ on Greentrax. Mark is an occasional Ulster song tutor and teacher of bodhrán and tin whistle.
