TMSA Young Trad Tour – Edinburgh Concert

TMSA Young Trad Tour – Edinburgh Concert

Eight of Scotland’s finest young folk musicians have embarked on a tour of their home towns and recording an album together so they can inspire others and thank their communities for the support they have had over the years.

The finalists and winner of the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Competition (2016) started their tour in Helensburgh and then visit The Isle of Lismore, Fort William, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Orkney. They will be hard at work in the studio in June with an album due for release in July.

This TMSA Young Trad Tour also forms the basis of the group helping to showcase the best of Scottish traditional music at the renowned ‘Festival Interceltique de Lorient’ in August which takes place in Brittany, France. Catch them first on their tour around Scotland!
