John Knox House is one of Scotland’s most important medieval buildings, and its site has for centuries been the hub of the city’s commercial, cultural and religious identity. This text presents a History and Local Interest of the site, incorporating the story of Sir James Mossman, who died for his faith in 1573.

TRACS and the Forums have their registered office at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, 43-45 High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1SR. The Storytelling Centre is a partnership project between the Storytelling Forum and The Church of Scotland (SC011353).
