New Music Scotland, the body which connects, enables and supports makers of innovative and experimental new music, is holding a conference/showcase at this year’s sound festival in Aberdeen. The theme is collaboration between new music professionals and other art forms, and registration for the event is now open to practitioners from all art forms from Scotland and beyond – creators, performers, promoters, producers.
The event runs Fri 23 – Sat 24 October and explores different opportunities and challenges faced when new music and other art form professionals collaborate. There will be keynote speeches, showings of work, workshops and discussions with:
