Launch of the European Folk Network
EUROPEAN FOLK NETWORK
LAUNCH DATE: 31st JANUARY 2016 – GLASGOW
The European folk/traditional music network that has been developed over the past year will be officially launched in Glasgow on the afternoon of Sunday 31st January 2016 from 14.30 to 16.30 – immediately after the programme for Showcase Scotland has ended.
Everyone is invited!
The voluntary group of folk/traditional music people from several countries who have been working on the idea of a pan-European organisation are finalising details of the aims, structure, membership and future activities of the network and will present them for the first time on 31st January.
