TMSA Event Calendar – FREE opportunity to promote your event, venue, folk club or folk music related business!

TMSA – Traditional Music and Song Association

As it appears, that whilst the issues are not completely gone, there is a bit more certainty about planning activity and audiences attending events. So we are now going to re-start compiling the print edition of the TMSA Event Calendar which we’ve been planning to do to help promote the wealth of trad/folk events, venues, clubs and activity building back momentum. (Thanks to those groups who did supply us details the first time around).

The idea is to have the Edition cover from late Summer/Autumn 2022 up to the end of 2023. We know some details will be sketchy but we will encourage people to look online for details nearer the time. And maybe with people’s experiences of cancelled flights creating uncertainty around travel further afield – maybe there will be more of an appetite to stay more local for a while!

Our plans are to still distribute around 50,000 copies of the publication across Scotland through various outlets including Visitor Information Centres as well as into areas of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This will also be complemented by promotion through the TMSA website and social media.

Thanks to funding we are able to offer the opportunity to have your event, venue, folk club or folk music related business listing included for FREE. You can also take out a display advert at a very reasonable rate.

We are currently working on a deadline of 15th August for people to get their details to us – even if they are ‘to be confirmed’..
