Young Scot are currently working in partnership with Creative Scotland, around the National Youth Arts Strategy.
As part of this project, they are piloting the recruitment of Arts Ambassadors from 11 key areas across Scotland. They are looking for young people aged 13 to 25, and they should be confident in networking with creative professionals and working on initiative. Good communication skills are essential.
This is a really great opportunity to feed into arts in a national way, whilst representing and serving the community they are a part of. The Arts Ambassadors would promote engagement in the arts, as well as aim to raise awareness of and participation in all art forms. Already existing is Youth Arts Voice Scotland, who are a panel of 15 young people strategically leading on arts in Scotland. This group would be a continuation of this project, but serving at a local level.
