11th May @ Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church
Acoustic Vocal Concert
Students from our Traditional Music department present an evening of acoustic song at Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church. This performance focuses on Scots and Gaelic repertoire, hosted by our BMus Traditional Music vocal singing group Sang Scuil | Sgoil nan Oran. There may even be a few special guests too, so please bring along your singing voices to join in.

An Evening of Traditional Music
A showcase of new ensemble work from the Department of Traditional Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This concert focuses on the work of Honours and Masters level students, who have worked intensively to create new arrangements for small and large ensemble.

Recital Festival
Showcasing a diverse programme of new work by students of the BMus and MMus Traditional Music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Recital Festival celebrates the culmination of years of study by these emerging professionals. Come and join them as they draw on skills in performance, research and critical artistry to present a series of individual concerts. This year’s festival includes specialisms in fiddle, Highland Bagpipes, Scots song, clarsach, bodhran, snare drum, accordion, mandolin and guitar.
