The Scottish Recovery Network is looking to hire two group facilitators for the Write to Recovery project.
Write to Recovery explores the power of people owning their story in a positive way. Through on the ground group work, and a specially designed online story-sharing tool, Write to Recovery provides the opportunity for people to share experiences, skills and ideas around how to manage and improve wellbeing. Central to the process is the chance for participants to explore writing and shaping their own story.
The main purpose of the group facilitators will be to;
- organise, implement and facilitate Write to Recovery group work for people affected by mental health problems in local communities across Scotland.
- build capacity and achieve sustainability of the group work by recruiting and mentoring volunteer facilitators.
Travel is required as part of the role and the post holder may be required to work some evenings and weekends.
