The Tay Landscape Partnership are offering two £1000 awards to enthusiastic individuals to develop a project which includes the creation of an original piece(s) of art inspired by the landscape of the TayLP area, its people and the TayLP projects, information about the projects can be found at www.taylp.org. One award is aimed at those aged 16-25 and one aimed at 25+.
The funds can be used to cover the cost of travel, equipment, materials and displaying or preforming the completed work.
The award applies to all artistic disciplines including; ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, design, filmmaking, animation, music, dance and poetry. Please note that photography is not included in this bursary as there is a separate photography bursary.
Applicants should complete the application form outlining their project and submit a short portfolio, this should be between 5-10 examples or photographs of examples of their work, a brief synopsis of their reasons for applying, what they hope to achieve and how they plan on spending the award.
The recipient will be required to:
Provide quarterly progress updates
Complete their project and deliver a short written report to the TayLP Steering group within one year of the award being presented
Exhibit or perform their work in an appropriate context
Allow the use of their work for the duration of the TayLP project for promotional materials and events
