Book Anna Lehr
After working as an actress for over ten years in her native Germany, Anna Lehr graduated with a degree in the History of Art and English Literature and has been working in museum education ever since, using storytelling to entertain and educate.
Anna is an expert in performance-based, interactive and educational storytelling, and has vast experience working with early years, special needs and sensory impaired groups and people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Apart from narrating classic fairy tales in both German and English, Anna also writes her own original material and loves working to commissions. Using song, nursery rhymes and often movement, Anna has told stories for The Scottish National Galleries, Glasgow Museums, Palace of Holyrood House, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, schools and community organisations such as The Childrens Wood and Platform. Anna is familiar with the Curriculum for Excellence and is developing and delivering numerous storytelling sessions and workshops for audiences of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
