Oban is getting ready to attempt to break the Guinness World Record Attempt for the most people Scottish Dancing on Saturday 4 July.

Wear a sprig of tartan or go the whole hog and wear the full outfit! They need at least 2015 dancers to break the record so everyone is invited to attend, bring your dancing shoes, contact your local dance schools, bring your work colleagues.

Festivities will start at 5pm and the attempt at 6.30 pm but they need you to register before hand in order for the event to count.
