TMSA Young Trad 2016 Finalists Tour Taking to the Road

The BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalists, making up the TMSA Young Trad Tour 2016 group are setting out on the road, visiting their home locations around Scotland, beginning with a concert in Helensburgh on 30 May.

The line up for this Tour is: Mohsen Amini: Concertina (2016 winner), Claire Hastings: Song (2015 winner) – Dumfries, Hannah Macrae: Fiddle – Fort William, Robbie Greig: Fiddle – Edinburgh, Jessica Burton: Clarsach – Orkney, Murray Willis: Accordion – Lismore, Ryan Young: Fiddle – Cardross all ably assisted by accompanist Jean Damei

Expect some brand new material written and composed by the young musicians, as well as some innovative arrangements of traditional tunes, all of which feature on their new album – which will be available to purchase at the concert or available through the TMSA shop at www.tmsa.org.uk or through Amazon, or via download through iTunes.
