Safely Returning to the Scottish Storytelling Centre

We are open again! We’ve loved having audiences back in the Scottish Storytelling Centre for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year. There has been such a buzz in the venue, and it’s warmed our hearts to see people in the Netherbow Theatre and performers being able to do what they do best again.

Did you wonder what we were all up to during lockdown? Here’s our staff telling us their experience of the last 18 months.

Accessible performances

From 22 Aug, we will be running BSL Signed and Relaxed performances for selected Fringe shows.

For all relaxed performances, we are offering audience members:

  • An audience chill out area
  • Permission to move around and make noise
  • Permission to engage with performer
  • The chance to meet the performers and see the performance space before the show.
