Showcase Scotland has extended the deadline for applications to Australian Music Week until Monday 4th July.
Taking place in the Sydney beachside suburb of Cronulla from November 2-4 inclusive, AMW is a fantastic opportunity to perform live in front of some of Australia’s and the world’s most influential and successful promoters, agents, venue bookers, managers, labels and media people.
Up to ten artists will be shortlisted by the Showcase Scotland Expo Judging Panel, from which AMW Showcase Scotland will select two to perform at the festival as well as at a Scottish reception. There is the further possibility of an Australian tour following the event.
Previous showcases in Australia have resulted in significant successes for the artists involved, and Showcase Scotland hopes the extra few days gives some of the artists who intended to apply the chance to still do so.
